• The Blood Brothers series features images of both myself & one of my dearest friends & deepest loves, my Tattoo Artist, & my Muse for this project, Hoku Cabebe.

• With the help of a certified phlebotomist, we drew & mixed it together both mine Hoku’s blood to make the organic blood-based film developer used to develop all of the black & white images in this series.

• Special thank you to Hoku Cabebe for not only modeling with me, but also contributing her blood & trusting me with this unique creative process. This project is my way of honoring enduring & evolving love, chosen family love, queer love, & it’s my tribute to mine & Hoku’s decade of adoration & support for each other.
